Timing Is Everything
I’ve always been a big fan of playing with a click…It’s a huge part of playing well together as a band. In addition to stepping up the overall “tightness” of a band, a click also increases the effectiveness of effects because it brings them in time.
Anyway, you don’t have to break the bank to have a great click track that works well in practice or live. We use a $1.99 iPhone app as our click all the time. This app is easy to operate, allows easy editing of set lists, is very customizable, and sounds great.
